The Calathea Sanderiana, also known as the Pinstripe Plant, is a tropical houseplant with deep green leaves decorated with delicate pink and white stripes. Its elegant foliage and purple-toned leaf undersides make it a beautiful statement plant for any indoor space.
It's native to the tropical rainforests of South America, where it naturally grows on the forest floor.
Care
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, as this can scorch the leaves and cause the beautiful markings to fade.
Water: Keep the soil evenly moist, but never waterlogged. Allow the top layer of soil to dry slightly before watering again. Filtered or rainwater is ideal, as Calatheas can be sensitive to minerals in tap water.
Temperature: Keep your Calathea Sanderiana warm and away from cold drafts. A stable temperature of around 18–27°C (64–81°F) is ideal. High humidity will also help keep the leaves healthy and vibrant.
