Care 

Light
Place your Buxus Bonsai in a bright spot with plenty of natural light. It can tolerate partial shade, but a location with several hours of sunlight is ideal. During very hot summer days, some protection from intense afternoon sun can help prevent the foliage from drying out.

Water
Water when the top layer of soil begins to feel slightly dry. Water thoroughly until excess water drains from the pot, but avoid leaving the bonsai standing in water. The soil should remain lightly moist without becoming waterlogged.

Temperature
Buxus Bonsai are hardy and can handle cool temperatures and normal seasonal changes. They are best kept outdoors, but during periods of prolonged severe frost, it is advisable to protect the roots and pot from freezing temperatures. Avoid placing the bonsai in a warm indoor environment for extended periods.
