Care

Light

Place your Alocasia Zebrina in a bright location with plenty of indirect sunlight. Avoid harsh, direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. Sufficient light encourages healthy growth and helps maintain its attractive foliage. Rotate the plant occasionally to promote balanced growth.

Water

Keep the soil lightly and evenly moist during the growing season, allowing the top layer to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid letting the soil become waterlogged, as excess moisture can cause root rot. Reduce watering during cooler months when growth naturally slows, and always allow excess water to drain freely from the pot.

Temperature

The Alocasia Zebrina thrives in warm indoor temperatures, ideally between 18 and 27°C. It appreciates high humidity and should be protected from cold draughts and sudden temperature changes. Use a well-draining potting mix and feed with a balanced houseplant fertiliser during the growing season, following the manufacturer's instructions.
