Aglaonema Red Joy (mini)

The Aglaonema Red Joy is admired for its lush green foliage with beautiful red and pink tones. Its colourful leaves make it a striking addition to any indoor space, while its naturally compact and bushy growth makes it easy to style in both modern and classic interiors. It's a low maintenance houseplant.

Aglaonema is native to the tropical and subtropical regions of Southeast Asia and New Guinea, where it naturally grows on the shaded forest floor. ‘Red Joy’ is a cultivated variety selected for its attractive red and green foliage. 

Care

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to maintain its vibrant red and pink colouring. It can tolerate lower light levels, but growth may be slower and the colours less intense. Avoid strong direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

Water: Keep the soil lightly and evenly moist, allowing the top few centimetres of soil to dry slightly before watering again. Avoid overwatering and make sure excess water can drain freely, as consistently wet soil can lead to root rot. Reduce watering during the winter months.

Temperature: Aglaonema Red Joy thrives in warm indoor temperatures of around 18–24°C (64–75°F). Keep the plant away from cold drafts, air conditioning and sudden temperature changes. Higher humidity is appreciated, although it can tolerate average household humidity.
