Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a refund or exchange. 

If you purchased a plant from our shop and you changed your mind (e.g. it does not fit well with your room style). You can always bring it back to our shop for a return or exchange in 14 days, given that the plant is in the same condition as it was purchased. 


For gift items, to be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, without any damage, preferably in its original packaging (or in a differnet packaging which will provide the item with protection.


If you have order a plant with shipping and the plant is damaged during shipping, you can get a full refund. Or contact us to get a replacement.

If you wish to return an item, please follow these instructions:

  1. Phone or email us at avalonamsterdam10@gmail.com with a message that you plan to return an item purchased. While it is not required that you give us a reason for the return, we would appreciate an explanation. You can also directly by our store during business hours. 
  2. Returned items should be properly secured and packed before shipping.
  3. Returned items should be shipped back through registered mail or by courier in the same condition as when the item left the gallery and adequately insured.
  4. We typically issue refunds within 2-3 business days of the receipt of a returned item.

If a buyer is not satisfied for any reason he may return an item for a full refund of the purchase price, provided it is sent back within fourteen (14) days at the expense of the buyer, properly wrapped, fully insured and returned in the same condition as when received by the buyer.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
