Our plant and gift shop is located at Singel 281, Amsterdam. It is in the neighborhood of the 9 streets and it is within minutes of walk from the Dam square.
Our webshop (and Etsy store) ships everywhere within in the EU, and we have plenty experience packing the plants and Bonsai safely for days of shipment.
Walking through our shop in Amsterdam, you might discover exotic species of plants that you have never seen before, you might be able to find the perfect green gift for someone special, or you might find a bonsai with a unique style that is as old as you are!
We started our shop in the beginning of 2021. During the lockdown, we hoped to bring everyone plants and gifts that can create happiness in daily life. We believe that having plants in our life and caring for them are essential to our well being and mental health.
Unlike flowers or chocolates, plants are gifts that will grow and last. As a gift, a plant or a bonsai will bring special energy to your families and friends.
For our webshop customers, we hope you will visit our Amsterdam store in person during your trip! Along with plants, our store has a unique mix of gifts, nature wonders, botanical prints and antiques from Indonesia or Europe. Visiting our cabinet of curiosities, perhaps you will discover some other treasure beside an exotic plant specie.
A word from the owners:
When we started our shop in early 2021, we were a couple in our early twenties recently moved to Amsterdam with our young son. We were already passionate about plants years before Covid, but the lockdown really made us understand how important it is to connect with nature and how caring for plants can contribute to our happiness.
We wish to share our love for plants with Amsterdam locals, as well as our International visitors. Plants can be wonderful decorations for our homes, but we think it is also important to appreciate them as a living being with their unique "personalities". Therefore besides beautiful green houseplants, our shop is also filled with exotic species from around the world. Here you might find rare caudex plants from the desert, a carnivorous plants that will trap the flies, a terrarium that is a closed ecosystem for the plants, or a 30 years old Bonsai with its large roots spreading above the ground.
