A colourful and exotic cactus, with yellow to purple bright hues of its spines.
In nature, the are grown in the southwestern U.S. and northern Mexico. The Echinocereus Pectinatus Rubispinus in nature in a mineral-rich substrate and can withstand long periods of drought. This cactus can be 35cm high with a diameter of 13cm. However, the Echinocereus Pectinatus Rubispinus takes years to reach these dimensions. It is a slow grower.
If you take good care of your cactus, it can reward you in the summer with beautiful sized fuchsia pink flowers with a white calyx and green pistil.
