Snake plant

Dracaena trifasciata is a species of flowering plant in the family Asparagaceae, native to tropical West Africa from Nigeria east to the Congo. It is most commonly known as the snake plant, Saint George's sword, mother-in-law's tongue, and viper's bowstring hemp, among other names.

Snake plants can absorb cancer-causing pollutants, including CO2, benzene, formaldehyde, xylene, and toluene. With the ability to absorb and remove harmful toxins, snake plants can act as an effective defense against airborne allergies.

Care:

Indirect sunlight. Let the soil dry out in between the waterings (about once every three weeks depending on the environment).
