Devotional painting on canvas made in gser-thang style on a gold background, depicting the Medicine Buddha, Bhaisajyaguru in the centre, sitting in the padmasana (lotus) position on a base of peony petals and peony buds, characterised by his blue skin and red monastic clothes. In his left hand, the figure is holding, in avakasamudra, a bowl containing a mixture of officinal herbs; in the right, with the palm facing outwards, he is holding a branch of a plant. On the background you can see many small reprentations of the main figure. The fine pictorial work of the main figure is worth noticing. No inscription on the back.
