Unique house plant with shiny leaves, Anthurium clarinervium is also known as the velvet cardboard anthurium. It is a species of flowering plant is in the family Araceae, native to Chiapas, Mexico.
Light: Bright light, but indirect sun. Direct sunlight can cause scorch marks on the leaves that look like dry, brown patches.
Water: Water thoroughly but avoid watering too often; Anthurium won't tolerate soggy soil. Wait till the top couple centimeter of soil is dry before watering again. Typically about once a week depending on the environment.
